Join LedeX

LedeX is currently amassing a database of journalism professionals for its “proof of concept” phase. Once your application is complete, it will go to a review board for vetting based on your skill-set, portfolio and resume. If your application is approved, LedeX will add you to our list of professionals for work. When a paying request for a fixer, interpreter or freelance journalist comes through the system, we will match it with the professional best suited to the task in the necessary region.

LedeX aims to eventually automate this process through a website with a prospective launch in Q3/2019. The business model is currently formulating. In the meantime, LedeX will request a seven percent finder’s fee added to the cost of the exchange.

Eventually LedeX aspires to pair storytellers and interpreters with media outlets and NGOs around the world in the time it takes to purchase groceries from Amazon. LedeX also will pursue a networking site of freelance journalists for freelance journalism professionals through which needs are communicate concisely and effectively; work is assigned and transmitted through a secure website interface from any computer or Smartphone; a fair wage is negotiated through the power of a collective; and journalism professionals will have access to insurance and other benefits.

The future of journalism is coming. The future is LedeX.
